A new series of interviews, dedicated to prominent figures in the world of culture and conceived as a multi-voice reasoning conducted by the editor together with the interviewed authors on the most topical issues. Fulvio Irace, Matteo Vercelloni and Demetrio Paparoni are in charge of the first three volumes, focusing respectively on architecture, design and artists.
In this volume devoted to architecture, Fulvio Irace reflects together with fourteen of the most influential authors on the international scene on the developments of an art that by its very nature is based on the physicality of space and the notion of social sharing, and that, as such, in this era of great change, is called upon to give answers and reflect on itself, its tools, and its tasks. Discussed with the author are Renzo Piano, Mario Botta, Emilio Ambasz, David Chipperfield, Steven Holl, Kazuyo Sejima, Grafton Architects, Francis Kéré, Barclay & Crousse, Bijoy Jain, Charles Renfro, Benedetta Tagliabue, Odile Decq, Tadao Ando.

Fulvio Irace, among the leading scholars of architecture in Italy, is full professor of History of Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. His research activity, focused mainly on Italian architecture, has resulted in numerous monographs including those dedicated to Gio Ponti, Carlo Mollino, Franco Albini, Luigi Caccia Dominioni and Vico Magistretti. There are also numerous studies dedicated to more contemporary authors such as Renzo Piano, Emilio Ambasz, David Chipperfield and Odile Decq.
