Dante Alighieri’s allegorical and spiritual journey into the depths of Hell comes to life in this brand new edition, consisting of an illustrated book and a paper theater, both enclosed in an elegant slipcase. The reading of the journey that the supreme poet undertakes in the company of Virgil comes alive thanks to the illustrations accompanying the full text of the work, and the paper theater composed of nine scenes, dedicated to nine circles, a true work of papermaking by artist Daniele Catalli. Daniele Catalli – Born in Rome in 1979, lives and works in Turin. Draftsman, author, set designer, designer, fencer, he collaborates with performers, musicians, directors, writers and designers creating installations, record covers, set designs, posters, exhibitions, prints, games. His books have been acquired by private and public collections including The Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Swarthmore College and La Fayette Collége. In 2008 he founded Piri Piri Atelier and has been collaborating with the Exhibitioff collective since 2012.
