The architectural design of Crédit-Agricole Italia’s new headquarters, under the banner of sustainability, technology and smart working.
Designed by Frigerio Design Group, the new Italian headquarters of the Crédit- Agricole bank is called, not surprisingly, Green Life. Indeed, the common denominator of the entire project is the focus on resources, both human and energy. The architecture, generated from the geometries of Vico Magistretti’s original settlement, is born from the context and enhances it, while taking on new character and personality: it is an intervention with a minimal ecological footprint, a symbol of a new environmental and entrepreneurial consciousness. The offices, arranged around a large park and powered by geothermal and photovoltaic systems, have been designed with a smart-working perspective, to meet the needs of a new agile and flexible way of working: open and shared spaces, focus rooms, and state-of-the-art relaxation areas. The interior design thus becomes a tool for communicating a new corporate culture, which looks at the well-being of workers as a powerful growth factor. Accompanied by preparatory drawings, technical data sheets and photographs, the book recounts the genesis and development of an eco-sustainable, environmentally and work-friendly complex.
