The protagonist of the story is the chameleon Leon, who on a beautiful sunny day strolling on the golden beach comes across a group of humans who capture him and take him to the city, to be placed at home in an aquarium. Leon is upset by this radical change, and his sadness is reflected in his dreams. But what does a chameleon dream about? Are his dreams as colorful as the thousands of shades his skin takes on? Who will help him overcome the sadness? Through the clever use of color, this simple but wonderful story of friendship between a little girl and a chameleon brings children closer to nature and respect for all living things.

JURGA VILÈ – Born in 1977 in Vilnius, Lithuania. She majored in French philology at Vilnius University and studied film and audiovisual media at Sorbonne III University, Paris.

LINA SASNAUSKAITĖ – Lithuanian illustrator and designer, has designed books for adults and children.
